Snehapanam is one of the Purvakarma therapies in Ayurveda where Thiktha Ghrutha or ghee infused with herbs is orally administered to the patient for a specific period. This treatment is mainly done as preparation for Panchakarma. The selected ghee is given according to the digestive power of the individual.
